Holger Obst reviewed the SPL Kultube for German music production website ReleaseTime.de. He took the time to put to the test all its functions and included a good number of sound samples in the review. The results of this exhaustive test couldn’t be clearer:
“Considering its solid construction and ease of use, the Kultube offers an outstanding audio quality. [...] When it comes to sound fidelity and resolution the Kultube easily outmatches any plug-in; and if you add the adjustable tube saturation, it is unbeatable. You simply cannot get an emulation that sounds this good.”
