German Alternative/Big Beat/Rock Band Stereostoned released their new album “Stay Sexy“ last January 27, 2012 on the Recent Records label. Watch the video to get a taste of their powerful rock energy:
For the recording of the album Stereostoned used several SPL products, including our indispensable and classic Transient Designer and Vitalizer®, both in hardware and software versions, as well as our GoldMike MK2 microphone preamp.
We spoke to the members of Sterestoned regarding the SPL equipment they used and this is what they told us: “We use the GoldMike MK2 preamps in every stage of the production. From pre-production right to the very end! The Transient Designer is a tool that has left a mark in our sound. Not only is it a reliable tool that allows us to work very confidently but it also provides us with a lot of creative options.”
The Stereostoned project succeeded in bringing together four musicians with completely different backgrounds to create a modern rock sound. The band was created in 2006 and began playing live gigs in Germany and the Czech Republic a couple of months later. Thanks to their first demo, Stereostoned started touring Germany more intensely in 2008, as opening act of bands like J.B.O., Panik and The New Black. In late 2009 Stereostoned began the pre-production of their “Stay Sexy” album. Now the time has come to hit the road and present their new material live all across Germany:
